Last year in August I brought the famous Zara shopper basket bag in a tan/brown colour (LINK!).
I absolutely adore it however I have found that it can be a bit of a problem since it actually does not have a 'proper' zip - yes, it does have a little flap that you can zip but I prefer my bag's to have a zip that covers the whole of the bag just so it is more secure, especially when I am on the tube!
So that being said, I was having a little peak on Zara's website and I found this little beauty....

The name of this bag is 'Basic Shopper' and as for sizes: 30 x 38 x 13 cm. / 12 x 15 x 5 inches.
The first thing I noticed about this bag was that it had a zip!!
It was then that it was big enough to fit my notebook and folders without straining the bag and of course it is black so it will go with everything.
It also comes with two short handles so you can hold it in the crook of your arm but I prefer to use the long strap so I can just hang it on my shoulder.
I thought this was actually going to cost around the £50 mark however when I looked at the price it was only £19.99 and then I did a double take it was reduced to £16.99!!
I have never ordered something online so quickly in my life.
The only downside is how long it took to deliver - I ordered it on 5th January and it arrived on pretty long. But nevertheless, I still love it and it's absolutely adorable.

I don't know if you can still get online but definitely check your local Zara if you want it.

As I said in a previous post (which you can read here) I picked up a few gift sets from Benefit since they were on sale.
I have always wanted to try perfume from Benefit but I was a bit sceptical since they retail for £29.50 and I did not know how they smelt since I have never had the chance to actually smell them. However, I was recently browsing online and I saw that the Crescent Row Limited Edition Perfume Sets were discounted.

In this set, I got:
- Laugh with me Lee Lee - which is said to be a woody floral, with a light blend of citrus, jasmine and lilly blossoms. A naturally light scent with a classic feminine style.
- My Place or Yours Gina - this is supposed to be a woody oriental, that has an alluring affair of pink pepper, wild raspberry and patchouli. It is a seductively provocative scent with a 'flaunt it if you've got it' attitude.
- Garden of Good & Eva - which is a citrus floral. It is crisp and fresh.
Ring My Bella - which is a fruity floral. It is sweetly seductive.
The mini's contain 10ml whereas a full size product is 30ml, in my opinion it was definitely worth the money.
As for the packaging, Benefit have definitely done it again. It comes in a little keepsake box and each 'cocktail' bottle is cute and chic. It is definitely a great little gift to test out, I may even buy a full size one.

Have you ever got any perfumes from Benefit? If so which one?

I have been eyeing Essie's Winter Collection for 2012 for so long so I made a sneaky purchase off of ASOS last week since they had their extra 10% discount for sale items.
I did not know if I actually wanted the collection since most of the polishes were ones that I do not wear however I decided to just buy the mini's since it contain the two polishes that I did like.

Here is a better look of all the polishes in the set:
(From left to right: Where's My Chauffeur?, Leading Lady, Snap Happy, Beyond Cozy)
Where's My Chauffeur? - is a bright turquoise colour which has a cream finish. I did not like this polish when I saw swatches and I do not like this polish now. It was streaky that it took me 2 thick coats in order for me to get the final fiinish.
Leading Lady - when I saw swatches of this polish, I instantly knew that I loved it even though I did not have it. It is a dark red which has red glitter, I would say it is a jelly polish, when dried it gives a slight texture to your nails but I like it, to avoid this I would simply apply a topcoat. The formulation of this polish was really good and it only took me one coat for full opacity.
Snap Happy - is a orange toned red which has a cream finish. I have nothing like this kind of red in my collection so I am happy that I have it. The formulation is really nice too as I only used 2 thin coats to get full opacity.
Beyond Cozy - this was the other polish in the collection that I really wanted. It is a glitter polish which has finely milled silver and gold glitter. In the sun, it looks silver however when I was inside this leaned more to the gold side. The formulation of this polish is fantastic, I only needed 1 coat in order for it to become opaque.

Essie Winter Collection retailed for £16.95 on ASOS however it is now only £12.50 in the sale plus there's an extra 10% discount code which is available for all sale items, so be sure to get yours now!

I was very lucky to be sent the new Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless mascara*. As soon as I opened my package I literally screamed because I was so excited. I have been looking for a new mascara lately but nothing has really caught my eye, so I was even more eager to try this. I literally took off the current mascara I was wearing (Maybelline The Falsies - I have spoken this about in my 2012 favourites which you can read here and also my November favourites which you can read here) and I applied this new mascara straight away.
Firstly I was very impressed that it is a full sized product. I was expecting it to be a sample or at most a deluxe sample size but a full size product - woah! Secondly, the packaging caught my eye. The main body of this mascara is a bright yellow-green, which looks stunning against the black handle. Speaking of the handle, I am actually glad that it has a big handle, so you can actually have a good grip when you're applying the mascara onto your eyes. As for the brush, I was not so excited because it is a plastic wand, however when I applied it I was actually very impressed, as I do not really go for plastic wands.
As you can see, the mascara has made a huge difference on my sparse looking eyelashes. It has definitely lengthened my lashes and added some volume too. The mascara formulation itself, was not too wet but mostly definitely was not dry. It dried instantly on my lashes so there was no remains on my eyelids from where my lashes touched. As for the 'Grow Lash Complex + Fibres Mascara', I do not know if it will make my lashes 'grow' but I will continue to use it to see if it does make a difference on my lashes. In order to remove the mascara, I found it very easy to do so, it most definitely easier than removing any other mascaras I have used in the past.

I am definitely impressed by this mascara and I cannot wait until it is out so you guys can buy it too. I think it will be available at the beginning of Spring 2013. It is supposedly going to be out on the market at the end of February, 2013...the 20th to be exact. As for the price of this mascara, I would say it may be around the £8 mark since their Lash Accelerator Mascara retails for £7.99, so I would say that it may cost the same price.

[DISCLAIMER: My opinions are 100% honest and most definitely not bias. I am in no way being paid for this post. I was simply chosen to be given this mascara and for that I am truly grateful.]

I have recently been on a 'lip gloss' high as I cannot seem to stop buying them!
I do not really wear lip gloss on an everyday basis however I still like having a selection when I do feel like wearing one.
I saw that some of Benefit's Christmas gift sets were on sale so I decided to grab a few. The first I brought is the High Flyin' Glosses which consists of 6 lip glosses, which are 6.5ml, that compliment Benefit's famous box powders.

 In this giftset, there is:
- Coralista - a sheer coral lip gloss
- Dallas - a dusty rose lip gloss
- Bella Bamba - a sheer bright watermelon lip gloss
- Hoola - a shimmering golden nude lip gloss
- Sugarbomb - a shimmering pinky nude lip gloss
- Dandelion - a soft pearly pink lip gloss
This gift set retailed for around £20 however I managed to pick it up for £13!! Bargain since I really wanted to try the full size products, which are 15ml, and they cost £13.50.
I really like Coralista and Dandelion, I think I might actually buy the full size product when I have finished using these (which will take me a while).
Did you manage to pick up any gift sets? If so, which ones??
I would love to know :)

After seeing this on the Ciaté website and also Selfridges website (which I believe it was exclusive to Selfridges), I thought I should get it.
It is definitely a little twist to the chocolate advent calendar that we used to get when we were younger.
I actually ordered this from the Ciaté website since it was sold out in Selfridges. My calendar came much later since I ordered it at the end of November/beginning of December, nevertheless, it arrived and I was so excited to open every single door as the days came.
The advent calendar came with 24 Ciaté mini polishes which contained seventeen of their best selling and most popular polishes to four exclusive caviar polishes and also three mystery polishes.
Here are all the polishes together:

So on to the most popular nail polishes from Ciaté that was in the advent calendar:
(from left to right: Headliner (066), Twilight (072), Speed dial (023), Mojito (019))
(from left to right: Cupcake Queen (011), Angel Wings (090), Fade to Greige (071), Cutie Pie (026))
(from left to right: Vintage (018), Cookies and Cream (058), Power Dressing (063),
Big Yellow Taxi (074))
(from left to right: Dangerous Affair (013), Mistress (039), Halo (089), Cabaret (046),
Ladylike Luxe (059)

The four caviar polishes that came in the advent calendar were:
It even came with the funnel to help apply the caviar on to the nails.

And lastly the three mystery polishes were:
As you can see they were all glitter polishes. Glass Slipper is a blue glitter, Magic Carpet is a purple glitter and lastly Enchanted Rose is a red glitter.

The only bad thing I can say about this advent calendar is that the glitter polishes were not 'wow!' however I still love them and all of the polishes apply like a dream! I still have to use the caviar polishes but I can not wait until I have a reason too.
The advent calendar retailed for £38, which is very reasonable as four of the Ciaté polishes would cost the same! A full size of the Ciaté polish is 13.5ml where as the mini's are 5ml, which are still a reasonable amount since you can actually try out the polish a few times to see if you want to purchase the full size.
Would I purchase it again? YES! I cannot wait to see if Ciaté would relaunch this for 2013, hopefully they would!
Did you purchase the Ciaté Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar?
If so I would love to read your thoughts on it.
Love Always,
