Latest in Beauty released their Glamour beauty edit box this month and I immediately knew I wanted to buy it just because it had one product that I have been wanting to buy for the past 2 years.
The box itself is a matte black which has a gold rim and font. Inside all the products are wrapped inside a white tissue paper that has gold flecks, whilst including some yellow crinkled tissue paper for that extra protection.
Inside the beauty box came with seven beauty items, which was fantastic, since the majority of beauty boxes come with the standard 5 items.
The box included:
- Toni&Guy Glamour Firm Hold Hairspray (sample size)
- Balance Me Extra Care Radiance Face Oil (sample size)
- Benefit They're Real mascara (sample size)
- Eyeko Lash Curlers (full sized)
- HD Brows Eyeshadow palette in Foxy (full sized)
- Phillip Kingsley One More Day dry shampoo (sample sized)
- Maybelline Baby Lips in Mint Fresh (full sized)
Here is a close up of the Eyeko lash curlers.
The curlers are silver with velvet blue handles which are definitely more easier to grip. A girl can never have too many eyelash curlers!
Here is a close up of the HD Brows kit.
Foxy is specifically designed for brunettes so I am glad that I was given the correct colour.
It comes with 4 matte shadows and a small double ended brush. The shadows are not only designed for your brows as you can use them as normal eyeshadows for an everyday look or you can smoke it out for the night. A perfect quad to just pop in your bag.

The Glamour Beauty Edit box retails for £14.95 (plus £3.95 for p&p)
If you want to buy it then I suggest to purchase it now before they sell out!

This year, MAC Holiday collection has really stood out to me, so as you do, I decided to purchase a few more things - so not good for my wallet!!
I picked up another lipstick from the collection called, Flair For Finery. I also brought another lipstick from the collection which you can read here.

Flair For Finery is a lovely nude. I actually do not own any MAC nude lipsticks as none have really caught my fancy, but this one obviously did. I think it will suit any skin tone.
It is more of a pinkish nude so it will not make you look dead when you apply it to your lips.
Plus it is a lustre, which is my favourite finish by MAC.

MAC have changed it up a little by making the lipstick bullet, have a matte black finish with gold accents, which is quite different from their usual packaging, I feel as if this looks much more fancy.

MAC lipsticks normally retails for £13 but for this lipstick is retails for £16.50.

I regretted that I did not pick up MAC's lipgloss set from last year's holiday collection, so I made a mental note to pick one up this time around, and thankfully I did.
I decided to pick up the Nocturnals lipgloss set in pink, there are also a set in nude and coral, but I knew I would get more use out of the pink set.

The set comes with one dazzleglass and three cremesheen glass, with the cremesheen being my favourite, I was happy that there were three in the collection, all of which I would wear.
Dressed To Dazzle is a dazzleglass, which is a pale baby pink that has some pink and gold sparkle running through it.
Fashion Scoop is a true pale baby pink that is quite sheer when applied to your lips. This is also a part of MAC's permanent range.
Petite Indulgence is a hot blue-toned pink, that is kind of opaque when applied to your lips.
Colour Saturation is a redish berry colour that also is kind of opaque on the lips.
Here are swatches of all the lipglosses:

All the colours in the set are wearable, especially now that we are in the cooler months, I am pretty sure I will get a lot of use out of Colour Saturation.

MAC Nocturnals Lipgloss set in Pink retails for £25.50, which is a great value for money, considering one lip gloss retails for £17.50.

Have you brought any of the Holiday sets by MAC yet?

MAC's Holiday collection came out a few weeks ago, and I instantly knew what I was going to buy. In today's post, I am going to show you one of the lipsticks that I brought, that sold out the next day and that is Private Party.

Private Party is a lovely dark berry/plum colour, it is the most darkest lipstick in my collection and I absolutely love it. It is so pigmented and it is my first Satin finish lipstick by MAC.
As for the packaging, MAC has changed it up a little by making the bullet have a matte black finish with gold accents, I really do like it.

MAC lipsticks normally retails for £13 but for this lipstick is retails for £16.50.
Unfortunately, Private Party is currently sold out on MAC's website but I am sure they will bring some more back soon.

The second high end make up product I brought when I was Paris, was another product by Dior. It is from their Holiday collection and I absolutely love it! It is the Diorific Perfumed Illuminating Powder in Perle D'or (002).

(one swipe, natural light)
As for the packaging, the compact itself comes in the traditional blue velvet cover like all Dior make up compacts come in, and the gold compact is actually quite heavy, I was actually surprised by this.

As for being 'perfumed' I actually cannot smell anything, but it is to be said that it has hints of Dior's J'adore perfume. The highlight it self is seriously beautiful, when blended out on your cheekbones (etc) it just gives this sheen to your face that actually stays all night. I, personally, would not want to wear this during the day but for nights out, this is going to be my go to highlight, I just know it!

Diorific Perfumed Illuminating Powder retails for £49 and you click here to purchase.

I mentioned in my Paris Haul that I had brought two high end make up products, well the first is a lipstick. Not just any lipstick, it is a Dior lipstick. In fact, it is my first Dior lipstick!
When I was in Sephora, I had a Dior make up artist do my make up, I can actually say that I loved the look and the make up stayed all day! Anyways, the lipstick he used, was absolutely lovely and I brought it - hey! when in Paris right?!?! The lipstick I brought is in Dior Kiss 578.

(one swipe, natural light)

Dior Kiss is a pinky berry colour, which makes your lips look absolutely stunning, if that is even possible! But honestly, the best way I can describe it, is as if you have just been eating a raspberry ice lolly. As for the packaging, it is literally gorgeous, I actually feel all fancy whenever I pull this out of my bag for touch ups. Dior Addict lipsticks retail for £24 and you can click here to purchase.

When I went to Paris, I decided to pop into MAC, which was near Sephora, as it was literally empty so I had a chance to browse around without the chaos that is the norm in any MAC store.
I picked up a lip pencil which you can read here and I also picked up a lipstick.
The one I chose was Pink Pearl Pop

I have never heard anyone rave about Pink Pearl Pop before, but when I was having a glance at all the lipsticks, this one just really stood out. Now I do not know if it was because it was a brand new tester or the fact that it is just a gorgeous pink. Plus it is a cremesheen, so it really does just glide on your lips and it is actually really moisturising. It is obviously not 'weather' appropriate, but I find that these kind of pinks suit me best, so I am bound to get quite a lot of use out of it.

MAC lipsticks now retail for £15 and you can click here to purchase. Have you tried Pink Pearl Pop before?

I have been meaning to pick up a red lip pencil ever since I brought the RiRi Woo lipstick.
This was my first red lipstick and I actually like it, but that being said I did need a red lip pencil, so when I was in Paris a few weeks ago, I decided to pop into MAC since it was near Sephora and I decided to pick up Cherry.

As you can see Cherry is a true red and it goes perfectly with my RiRi Woo lipstick. It is so pigmented and creamy that it just glides onto your lips, which is perfect because some lip pencils can be a little bit dry so it would then tug at your lips - not a good thing! This is my second lip pencil, and I actually might even buy a few more who knows!

MAC's lip pencils retail for £12, which you can purchase here.

This past weekend, I was whisked away to the lovely city of Paris by my sister and cousin. It was a birthday present from the both of them and I can truly say I have the best sisters!
Now I have been to Paris numerous times (I want to say about 6/7 times?) and every time I go, I fall in love even more! So as you do in Paris, you obviously shop until you drop!
I only brought a few things, I actually had to restrain myself!
So the first thing I brought was obviously the famous BIODERMA Crealine H20 Solution, I have heard so many good things about this micellaire water and I have yet to try it out. It is supposed to work wonders at cleansing, toning and removing every inch of your make up.
The next thing I brought was the NUXE Reve de Miel lip balm, now this is just a lip balm but again I have heard so much about this. I am a lip balm fanatic so again, I am excited to use this. Even though you can buy these two products from the UK, there is just something about buying french products in France that is just that little bit more satisfying/exciting - weird I know!

I then went in to Sephora on the Champs Elysees, as it was literally two roads away from my hotel so I did not have any reason not to go!  I brought a few things, two of which need a whole post dedicated to it, but the other two items I brought I am going to include in this post.
I wanted to buy something Sephora, as of course we do not have Sephora here in the UK (sort that out!!) but I got so overwhelmed with the amount of beauty products there was, that I had brought only one Sephora item which is their lip pencil in Funky Fuchsia.
It's a really lovely pink which will look great on it's own.

The next make up product I brought was Make Up For Ever HD Translucent powder. I have heard SO much about this powder and I thought that I should pick it up as Make Up For Ever is not that widely available here in the UK.
I would have picked up the concealer by Make Up For Ever but unfortunately they did not have my colour, which is a good thing but I have SO many concealers that I HAVE to go through before I buy another.

So that is pretty much what I brought from Paris, with the exception of two high end make up products, which I will feature in a different post all together, so stay tuned to that.

I had pre-ordered the new NARS Guy Bourdin One Night Stand cheek palette (which is limited edition) that was released on Sunday and I finally got my hands on it wednesday!
I am seriously excited over this palette, it has everything you can ever want!
Now the palette it self includes a highlight, a bronzer and four blushers.
As I said, the palette contains four blushers which are, Orgasm, Deep Throat, Mistinguette, Goulue. It also includes Laguna bronzer and a highlight in Devotee.
The swatches above are all just one swipe, so they are pigmented which is nice because I am sure this palette is going to last a long time.
One Night Stand palette retails for £45 and is available on the SpaceNK website.
