Now that it is Summer, I do not want to spend 30 minutes applying make up every single morning and as of late, I have been reaching for a handful of products which have been my go to and are my fail safe. Summer for me, means less make up and looking more dewy than usual, and so I thought I would show you how I prep my makeup for Summer so I can be done in just 5 minutes.
Starting off with my base, I have been loving the NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturiser (shade: St Moritz - medium 1). This is the perfect shade for me at the moment and for someone who has a hard time finding a base that will match my face to my neck, this is perfect. Whilst it is still a tinted moisturiser, if I want some added coverage I go for my NARS Radiant Creamy concealer (shade: Custard - medium 1) which is perfect for under my eyes to help brighten the area up a little along with covering any blemishes I may have.
To add some colour back into my skin, I have been reaching for my MAC Studio Sculpt Defining bronzing powder (shade: Delicates), this is a waterproof powder so it is perfect for the hotter months, plus I love the fact that this is very buildable and it does not look red/orange on the skin, so if I want to contour with it, I can! For blush, I have been loving the MAC high-light powder (shade: Nude Pink), since this is a nude blush it adds that perfect amount of colour to the cheeks without looking over the top.
For my brows, I have been using the Soap and Glory Archery brow pencil (shade: hot chocolate), I love how it has a spoolie on one end to help groom your brows and distribute the product so it does not look too harsh. I know many people like the Anastasia brow wiz, but I think this is so much better and it matches my brows perfectly. Lastly, the one thing I have to apply before leaving the house is mascara. I have fairly sparse and short lashes to begin with and the one mascara I have found to work wonders is the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara, I have been using the waterproof version lately and I think it is great for a waterproof mascara as it can still hold a curl and it does not budge at all!

So condensing my make up in the morning is probably the one way I prep for Summer so I can be done and out the door in 5 minutes to enjoy the sun and to make the most of my Summer. How do you prep for Summer?

The sun's out and it's that time of year, where we ditch the darker shades and opt for more brighter and fuss-free shades. I normally reach for peachy shades in the summer and so I thought I should show you all the products that I have been reaching for lately.
First up for blushers, I have obsessed with the new Clinique Cheek Pop in Peach Pop, I brought this a few months ago and I have been using it ever since. It is a baked product and it is just amazing! I think Clinique is very underrated but I love everything from their range, especially their skincare. 'Peach Pop' is a stunning peach shade which has a hint of golden shimmer running through it and I think for the Summer time, this is perfect. The golden shimmer is barely undetectable, in fact I would say it is more of a sheen on your cheeks, and for the hotter months, it looks amazing!
A new product in my collection is the DIOR Nude Tan Tie Dye Blush in Coral Sunset, I had a huge amount of Boots Advantage points saved up and I thought I should just spend it. I have been saving for years now and I always thought I would get something special, and to be honest, I'm so glad I picked it up. It contains an array of shades and when swirled together, it looks stunning. It is lighter than the Clinique Cheek Pop in Peach Pop, but it still has that sheen when applied on the cheeks. As usual, like all DIOR products, the packaging is just stunning!
An old favourite like I like to wear when it is warmer outside, is the Benefit Majorette blush. This came out last year and it is a cream to powder blush. Now in the pan, it definitely looks a little scary but when applied using a stippling brush (like the one from Real Techniques) is creates a natural flush of colour on the cheeks. I really like to wear this when it is hotter outside because I have found that it looks a lot better as the day goes on, plus it practically lasts all day on the skin.
Now on to lip products. One of my favourite shades to wear on the lips are peachy corals, and now because it officially summer, I can get away with wearing it every single day! The first peach lipstick I ever brought was the YSL Rouge Volupté lipstick in Peach Passion (13). The one thing I love about the YSL lipsticks, are that they are a one swipe-r, and by that I mean I can just swipe on the lipstick once, and it is so pigmented that I don't need to go over it again (the swatch below is just one swipe!). Another thing, is that they last for a very long time on the lips and they are not drying at all. Peach Passion is a true peach lipstick, which has a satin finish.
A new lipstick in my collection is one from Bare Minerals. I have been obsessed with Bare Minerals lately and their Spring collection called Modern Pop, is right up my street. I wanted to get all three lipsticks from the collection but I controlled myself and I just picked up one called 'Express Yourself'. This is another true peachy shade and I have actually heard some people saying that the formula of these lipsticks are a little different compared to the others in the range but I have no complaints. Express Yourself is incredibly creamy and pigmented, in the swatch above, it is just one swipe.

Next up are two of my favourite satin lip pencils from NARS. Now I think these are limited edition but I just had to mention them. First up is Torres Del Paine, which again is a true peach shade and the other is Descanso, which is more muted than Torres Del Paine but either shades are amazing. I keep both on my bag at all times and because they are in a pencil form, they are easy to apply on the go. As these are limited edition, I don't think you can get them anymore but I highly suggest checking out the NARS lip pencils because all of the shades are amazing and I'm obsessed with all of them!

I am a big fan of NARS and so when the new NARS Christopher Kane collection came out, I was a little excited. I wanted to get everything from the whole collection but I controlled myself and I just picked up a few things from the whole collection.
I decided to pick up the multiple in Violet Atom, and believe it or not, this is my first NARS multiple ever! There are two in the collection, Violet Atom which is a sheer iridescent violet and it is perfect for highlighting and the other is Quantum, which is described as a sheer iridescent magenta. When  I first saw Violet Atom, I was a little hesitant because to be honest, it does look a little bit scary but when swatched and blended it looks stunning.
The last two products I chose were two lip glosses. I picked up the shades Memzer, which is described as a sheer neon watermelon and Nucleus, which is described as a seashell pink.

There are four in the collection and I decided to just pick up two, since I found that the darker shades all looked the same on me. Now these lip glosses are supposedly a new formula and they leave a stain on the lips once the gloss disappears. I have found that Memzer definitely does leave a pink stain on my lips whereas Nucleus does not, but I put that down to it being a light shade and I was not expecting it to leave a stain behind, I prefer to wear it on top of lipsticks like MAC Faux.

The collection also contains two blushers, one which is a nude and the other which is a bright pink, along with an eyeshadow duo and a glittery rose gold shade, both of which are very shimmery and will work best when applied over a base.

I recently had £5 worth of points to spend in SpaceNK and as it was going expire soon, I thought I should use it. I browsed the website and the one item that stood out to me was the Laura Mercier Face Illuminator powder in Indiscretion.
The Laura Mercier Face Illuminator powder in Indiscretion is limited edition and as soon as I saw it, I fell in love. I instantly added it to my basket and the next day, it arrived! Whilst I'm not that bothered by oversprays, I was hoping this didn't have one and thankfully, there is no overspray here.
Indiscretion is a peachy gold shade, however it is described as a rose gold. Either way, it looks amazing on the skin, almost like you have just been on holiday and you're still glowing from within. This is a finely milled powder, so there are no chunky specks of glitter to be seen, and it catches the light effortlessly. As this is very pigmented, I've been using the Real Techniques Setting Brush to apply this on the high points of my face but the other day I did try using a big fluffy brush to apply it to the cheeks as a blush topper, and it looked amazing.

I've heard that this is similar to 'spellbound' by Laura Mercier, which came out a few years ago, so if you did miss that then I highly suggest to check this out.

Getting fit was something I always found hard to do ever since I finished school. In school, I was active. I played football and tennis during lunchtime and after school, and I also visited the school gym twice a week (fyi, my school was a sports college) so I was always active. When I left school, I obviously stopped and I gained a few extra pounds, as you do. It took me a while to try and get fit again, I started to run and I really enjoyed that, but I have noticed over the years whenever I have exams, I stopped exercising and I just feel a little blah, to say the least. I have tried to 'diet' and 'cleanse' over the years but honestly, the best way is not to go on a crash diet or cleanse, but instead to eat healthier. Don't eat that chocolate bar and have an apple instead. I always used to think apples would not 'satisfy' me but it really does. I don't feel hungry at all and it satisfies my craving.
I was recently contacted by Fortis Health, which is a company that provides supplements and vitamins. At first I was a little hesitant because I have heard a lot of negative feedback on 'slimming tablets', but then I read the information on Fortis Slenda* and it was definitely an eye opener. It contains Chlorogenic Acid, which helps with weight loss as it signals your liver to burn any stored fat first! Since I've finished my exams, I had a few extra pounds that I want to get rid of and so I thought I would give these a try, along with exercising and honestly, it has really helped!
It is not one of those tablets which makes you go running to the loo, which I have heard are the worst! Instead, Fortis Slenda* slows down the process of sugar into glucose, which helps to burn more stored fat and does not turn excess glucose into fat.
I have been having these tablets twice a day with a meal and I have noticed that I am not bloated after eating, which is a huge benefit for me. Also, I feel as if my skin has benefited from this too, it feels a lot more softer and looks a lot brighter when I wake up in the morning, plus my skin is a lot clearer, as during the month of May, I really broke out quite badly. Fortis Health are giving one lucky reader of mine a chance to try the tablets for yourself!

As you may or may not know, Make Up Forever is now sold at Debenhams (both online and instore) and I instantly knew I wanted to pick up a few things when it launched. Make Up Forever is one of my favourite brands, I adore the HD foundation and the HD powder is just amazing! I picked up one of the new primers along with a few other things and I thought it would be interesting to show you all what I brought and my thoughts on the products since I have been using them for a while.
Starting with lips, I picked up two products. The first being the Aqua Lip pencil in 1C (nude beige), I wanted to get my hands on this lip liner ever since I went to Vegas last year. Unfortunately, they didn't have any left in the Sephora I went to so I forgot all about it until now. This is literally my perfect nude, I have fairly pigmented pink lips and this really helps to even it out. More importantly it suits my skin tone as it does not make me look dead and plus I love the fact that it glides easily on the lips without tugging or pulling. Another product I brought was a new release from MUFE and it is the Artist Plexi-Gloss. I picked up the shade 206, which is a bright fuchsia pink. As you can see from the photos, the wand of this gloss looks a little gimmicky but I have found that it fits perfectly on the lips and it helps to apply the product evenly.
For the face I picked up the new Step 1 Hydrating primer. I have pretty dry skin so I really wanted to try a hydrating primer to see if it would make any difference when applying a foundation. I've tried it for a few weeks now and I have noticed a difference, my skin feels a lot softer and foundation does not cling to any dry patches, I highly recommend these primers!
For the eyes, I couldn't decided what to try so I thought the best way to try something was from the set. There were two available and I chose the Aqua Liner kit, which includes a full size of the Aqua liner, and three mini deluxe sizes of the Aqua Smokey lash waterproof mascara, the Aqua Eyes eyeliner and the Sens'eyes cleanser. I have yet to try the mascara but the cleanser is great at taking off waterproof mascara plus it doesn't sting my eyes! I've tried the Aqua liner a few times and it is amazing! It lasts all day and it does not fade during the day, plus it is so easy to create a cat eye.
As for the Aqua Eyes eyeliner, I'm not much of a fan. As you can see in the swatch above, it is not as intense as the black eyeliners I have currently in my collection but I have yet to try it and I will keep you all posted.

Have you managed to pick up anything from MUFE? What are your favourite products from the brand? I wanted to try the sculpting duo, however Debenhams are not stocking it at the moment, so I have to wait until it is available here. Also, I wanted to say that I know I have been very quiet here on my blog, but last month I had a ton of exams and assignments due, so I was very busy with that. However, I am back and expect a post every three days (as usual) here on my blog.
