If you read my latest post, then you would know that I have been loving the Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream*. Now I suffer from dry skin, it's no surprise here on my blog as I feel like I mention it quite a lot, so I'm always looking out for new products that help with my skin.
As the weather has dropped, my skin has become a lot drier, tighter and irritated. If you suffer from dry skin then you will know what I'm talking about, and honestly it really annoying. Make up doesn't sit right and it just hurts, so when I tried the Total Moisture Facial Cream* it instantly changed my skin within a week. The tri-radiance complex helps to develop the skin's water reserves and reinforces the moisture barrier, and honestly, my skin feels a lot more softer and smoother, and any dry patches I had, instantly disappeared. Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream* provides a concentrated hydration to the skin for a radiantly refreshed complexion. It contains mango butter, which is a natural plant based emollient known for it's moisture properties. It is an extremely thick, but luxurious cream, which can easily sink into the skin within a few minutes. I've been applying it every morning and night, and I've barely made a dent in it!

The Benefit It's Potent eye cream*, is another new product for me and as I suffer from dark circles, I've been wanting to give it a go. It is said to help fade dark circles along with helping to smooth fine lines, which helps to make the under eye area brighter and younger. It contains a peptide complex, which helps to restore elasticity and firmness. I haven't been using it for very long but I have noticed that the skin under my eyes feel a lot softer. When I have been applying my concealer, it goes on a lot smoother, I put this down to the blend of hydrating botanical extracts and loquat extracts, which help to protect the skin from free radical damage. For an eye cream, you actually get a lot of product and I can see this lasting for a very long time!

Have you tried any skincare products from Benefit?? I'm definitely loving it so far and I'm excited to try other things from the range.

2016 has been a good to me so far. There have been a ton of great opportunities so far and I cannot believe it and I feel so lucky to have had a chance experience new things along with working with one of my favourite brands ever! Without making this post even longer, it might be better to save this for a separate post and focus more on my beauty favourites for the month of January.
Whenever the weather drops, my skin takes a huge toll. It becomes tight and I often find dry patches on my cheeks, and whilst I love using this cream, it did not really help with my dry patches. A few weeks ago, I stopped by Benefit and I picked up the Total Moisture Facial Cream. This has honestly changed my skin. It is a very thick and luxurious feeling cream, which is infused with mango butter for that extra little bit of moisture, and if you suffer from dry skin or just want a thick moisturiser, then you need to get this! I've had it for just over a month now and I've barely made a dent in it. Another product is the Benefit Matte Rescue*, which is a new addition to the PORE-fessional range. I've been applying this on my T-zone and I've noticed that I am not shiny throughout the day! I no longer need to powder/blot and let me tell you, it's pretty amazing! It is all down to this little tube of matte wonder-ness and I cannot recommend it enough!
Another moisturising product I (re)discovered this past month was the Neal's Yard Bee Lovely hand cream. I've been applying this at night and in the morning, my hands feel so much more softer and smoother,  also my cuticles look a lot healthier. Now I'm normally not one to splurge on hand cream since I only use it when I feel like I need it and when I remember, but if you're looking for a new thick moisturiser, then this is a great one!
I feel like I have not mentioned make up brushes on my blog in a long time! In fact it was probably a year ago but I have to talk about this brush. I picked up the Real Techniques Bold Metals brush set in December and the large angled powder brush has been the stand out brush for me. It is extremely soft and it is so large that you cannot contour with it but it is perfect for applying bronzer all over. I simply sweep this across my face twice and I'm done.

The only make up product I've been loving this month was the Stila Smudge Stick in Stingray. Now I have a ton of eyeliners and I'm trying to use them all up before I go out and buy more so I am making it a point to use things up. I've had a few Stila Smudge Sticks before and whilst I do not like how you cannot twist the product back down, because the product is so soft and creamy, they are amazing eyeliners! Stingray is a true pure black eyeliner and I've been using it to tightline, and it literally stays all day. I find no need to touch up or re-apply throughout the day and it does not transfer either! If you're looking for a new black eyeliner (or any shade because Stila have an amazing range!) then I highly recommend these!

What have you been loving this past month??

When you've suffered from dry skin your whole life, you know what works and what doesn't. Now that Winter is in full effect, my skin has taken a huge toll and I literally slather my skin in anything that helps to bring the moisture back in. I've been using two different face masks to help bring my skin back to normal, look healthier and to just not feel irritated/tight.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal mask is new in my collection. It helps to rehydrate and soothe the skin within about 10 minutes or so. The fact that it contains oats (Colloidal oatmeal and Avena Sativa oat bran) really intrigued me, but it is said to have botanical antioxidants and it helps to nourish the skin by repairing and reviving the skin. I've noticed if I have any dry patches, this mask helps to make them disappear which means it's great in my books. It is very calm face mask but it is also extremely effective, as any patches of eczema I may have on my face is relieved and the inflammation is reduced too!
The Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey mask has probably been one of my favourites for the last couple of months. A little goes a long way so I've barely made a dent in the tube. The manuka honey helps to instantly draw moisture back into the skin, so it feels a lot more hydrated and softer. Plus it smells amazing! It does have a slight vanilla scent to it, but it is also very citrus-y so whenever I apply it on my skin, I feel as if I'm in a spa. I've also noticed that if I have any breakouts on my skin, this mask helps to soothe it down and even get rid of them!

Unlike clay masks, which can feel very tight on the skin after a few minutes, these do not. I tend to leave them on for 15+ minutes and my skin does not feel tight/irritated at all! What are your favourite nourishing face masks??
