Ever since I started my blog back in 2012, I tend to write a post dedicated to my favourite perfumes in rotation for that season, and so by sticking to the tradition, I thought it was time to dedicate another post. Sneakily, there is one perfume that has made a come back into this season and I didn't realise until now, as I am writing this post!
The perfume I am talking about is the Vera Wang Lovestruck EDP. I mentioned this perfume last year in my Summer/Spring perfumes post and by reading that post, it made sense as to why it automatically came into rotation. This is a perfume I purely wear in the Summer! It is incredibly light on the skin, and so it is not overwhelming at all! However, it tends to last throughout the day on the skin, so much so, that after a long day at work I can still smell it.
One perfume I haven't mentioned on the blog is the Juicy Couture Couture La La. This smells  completely different to the traditional JC perfumes. The top notes are sparklingly mandarin, green apple and red current. The heart notes are lily of the valley, blushing peony, violet leaves and orange flowers. Lastly, the base notes contains a mixture of woods and musk. Honestly, notes mean nothing to me but let me tell you that this perfume lasts for a very long time. Bottled in a typical over the top Juicy Couture style bottle, it looks amazing on your dresser - if you haven't smelt this already, then I'd give a sniff the next time you're near a perfume counter.
Stella by Stella McCartney EDT, was the one perfume I picked up last year during the Spring/Summer season. I wore this practically everyday and it just smells like Summer for me. I did dedicate a completely separate post to this amazing perfume, if you want to have a read - plus the bottle is just so minimal and stunning!
The new addition to my perfume collection is the Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Blush EDP. To be perfectly honest, no perfume post would be complete if I didn't mention a Marc Jacobs perfume! I absolutely love the Daisy range. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Blush EDP is the new perfume to the collection, which came out earlier this year. It has notes of pink grapefruit, mandarin, apple, freesia, rose, lily of the valley, apricot nectar, cedarwood and lastly, musk. It is definitely different to the original MJ Daisy perfume, as it is very warm on the skin, whilst being fruity and floral.
In terms of longevity, this also lasts for a very long time on the skin and I feel like it gets better throughout the day, as you wear it! Plus the bottle is stunning and just screams summer and Marc Jacobs!

What are your current Spring/Summer perfume picks? I have yet to try a Jo Malone perfume but I'm thinking this is the year I finally give in and buy a bottle! Also, if you wish to have a more in depth post to the new Marc Jacobs perfume, be sure to leave a comment below :)

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, Benefit Cosmetics are releasing brand new brow products later on in the month. The entire range consists of older loved products like the Benefit BrowZings (one of my favourite products!) and GimmeBrow, and newer products like the Goof Poof Brow Pencil - which is actually free with this month's copy of ELLE magazine. It has been completely redesigned, and like all things Benefit Cosmetics, the entire range looks stunning and just screams Benefit!
The Goof Poof Brow Pencil has a slanted teardrop-shaped tip, which actually makes all the difference when I'm in a rush in the morning - which is most mornings haha! I find because it has a slanted tip, I can fill in my brows a lot quicker and as the formula is on the drier side and it has a sharp tip, it means I can add in any fine hairs in spaces that need more definition, without using too much product. It is a 12 hour waterproof pencil and one of the best things about this pencil, is that it comes in six different shades! So you will be able to find a shade that suits your brows perfectly!
I picked up two, not realising that they both contained two different shades. So I have been using shade 2 (perfect if you have blonde hair) for the front of my brows and for shade 6 to fill in the rest of my brows, and let me tell you..they look do really look 'wow'! I have been loyal to my favourite drugstore eyebrow pencil, which is the Soap & Glory Archery Brow Pencil (I have gone through so many in the past couple of years) but I feel like this might knock it from being number one, especially because it comes in more shades.

The entire range looks absolutely amazing and I cannot wait until I can pick up the rest of the products. I am currently eyeing up Ka-BROW! Have you tried the new Benefit brow products yet?

Wear it. Share it. Own it.  The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder is the new range by Estée Lauder. Ever since I saw pictures at the beginning of the year, I was very excited for this range to come out. I then went to Vegas at the end of March and I lucky that it had just come out in Sephora on the same day. I spent, what felt like hours, at the stand and admired and swatched the entire range. I decided to settle on the Skin Glowing Balm Makeup with Pink Peony, which essentially is a sheer foundation. Although the texture is nothing like I have felt before, it has a whipped like texture that feels very creamy on the skin, and it acts like a tinted moisturiser and leaves a dewy finish to the skin. For an everyday basis, this is great, as even though it is sheer, it is very build able but I feel like it covers my redness easily. It contains shea butter, evening primrose oil and muru muru seed butter which helps to leave your skin feeling softer, nourished and supple, all whilst leaving your skin having a healthy looking glow.
The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder is now available in the UK - exclusively to Selfridges. So last week, I popped into Selfridges on my way back from work and wanted to have a better look at the range. Whilst it was very busy, I managed to get a hold of the two lip products I wanted back when I was in Vegas.
I picked up The Barest Contour lip liner in 'So Bare'. The idea of these fragrance-free lip liners are to act like contour liners for your lips, to help shape, enhance and contour your lips for a fuller look. Honestly they are just the same as any other lip liners but they glide onto the lips with ease but also last for a very long time! They have a soft texture and a small nib, so it is very easy to be precise. As it has a waxy texture, it does not bleed. Each of the lip liners come with a matching lipstick however I settled with a different shade.
I decided on the shade 'In The Flesh' from The Barest lip colour range, which is a pinky nude. It is a very 'me' shade and that's the reason why I love it. Not only is the packaging stunning but the product inside is equally as amazing. It is a lipstick and lip balm hybrid, so it is great if you suffer from dry lips, like myself. The added muru muru butter helps to hydrate your lips and to not dry it out.
The one skincare product I brought was the White Mud Exfoliating Scrub + Mask. I initially wanted to pick up the Pink Peony Overnight Water Pack, however after speaking to one of the ladies at the counter, I settled on the exfoliating scrub + mask. It is a white dual action detoxifying and pore refining mask and exfoliating treatment. I've been using it for the past week and I can honestly tell a difference. It is not harsh on the skin at all and it gets rid of any flakiness or dry patches you may have, due to the jojoba exfoliating beads. As a mask it draws out the impurities whilst also removing any excess shine and oil. The white porcelain clay mask feels incredibly creamy on the skin and like I said before, it does not irritate your skin.
The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder is a complete 180 compared to the original classic Estée Lauder range. I literally want everything from the entire range because I love it! With a twist on the classic gold and navy Estée Lauder colours, the entire range of the Estée Edit is silver, white and cobalt blue. It is very edgy and is definitely something difference from EL. With Kendall Jenner and Irene Kim as the face of the range, I feel like EL have now brought something new and have reached out to the younger demographic. The entire range definitely lives up to the #BeautyIsAnAttitude, whilst also being about enhancing your natural beauty.

If you haven't checked out the new The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder then I'd highly recommend it, as it is now out in Selfridges. Have you checked it out? What are your stand out products?

It has been months since I have written a monthly favourites post and the reason for that is, simply because I have not been trying new products/none have really stood out to me/I'm happy with what I'm using at the moment. However, I feel like I have found some cult favourites this past month.
First up is the Sephora 8HR mattifying pressed powder in medium. I brought this last year when I went to Nice and have been using it to set my make up in the morning. As I leave fairly early, I need my make up to last and to stay put throughout the day. This powder has been perfect for that. It sets everything in place without looking cakey, but as it is also finely milled, it just looks like skin. You cannot tell I'm wearing powder and that's the great thing about it! Plus, if I was to ever reapply throughout the day, it does not build up on the skin but it also provides some coverage.
The Benefit Erase Paste* has been the one product that I kept putting off from trying from Benefit. I thought that because it is a thick product, it would look cakey on my dry skin. Boy was I wrong! Erase Paste acts like a corrector for my dark circles. It has an orange tint to it, so it easily covers my dark circles without looking cakey - a little goes a long way! I have the shade 3 (the deepest in the range) and it works great! As it has a thicker texture, it lats longer on the skin too!
The one tool that has really stood out to me has been the Tarte Airbrush Finish Bamboo foundation brush. This brush is THE perfect brush for when you are in a rush and need to quickly apply your foundation. I have been loving this. It is a fairly large kabuki brush that does not soak up your foundation nor does it leave any streaks on the skin. I cannot talk about this brush anymore except from you all need it in your life!
It was very hard to find a skincare product that I've been loving but the one product that kept coming into my mind was the PIXI Glow Tonic. I have spoken about this product before but I cannot get enough of it either. It has helped my skin look brighter along with removing any pesky milia spots that I've had for years! It really is something and I can tell a difference in my skin when I am not using it.
The two new products that I have been trying out for the past couple of weeks has been the NYX Matte Liquid Liner and the Marc Jacobs O!Mega Lash Volumising mascara
The NYX Matte Liquid Liner, I'd have to say, is the best liquid liner I have ever tried that gives a matte finish. It has a brush tip applicator (my favourite!) and it helps to create such a sharp wing, that does not fade throughout the day. Nor does it smudge. I have really put this liner to the test, as I can personally say that it can last for 12 hours, without fading. I feel like the only thing I would add to this liner is to make it waterproof. It would then be my ultimate holy grail liner!
The Marc Jacobs O!Mega Lash Volumising mascara has been in my box to try for the past year. I kept putting it off - I have no idea why! But I'm glad I've finally given it a go. It not only adds volume to my sparse lashes but it also adds length. Honestly, I can feel like lashes touching my brow bone whenever I use this mascara, it's really something! Like other high end mascaras I've tried, it does not look special. The wand looks average but as it does have a drier formula (or this maybe because I've had it for some time) it is build able without looking like spider legs.

What have you been loving for the past couple of months? I'm currently on a spending ban because I have spent way too much money and the fact that I have way too many products to finish!
